Join 100 guests as The Dylan Thomas Centre in partnership with The African Community Centre and The Black History Association Wales, launch Black History Month 2015. This year’s programme is all about Great Black Women, and to kick off this jam packed season of talks, workshops, screenings and performances is rhythmic poetess, Floetic Lara. Lara Lee aka FLO, will perform an inspired set accompanied by talented local young women, the culmination of intensive song, poetry and theatre workshops in schools led by Lara, who recently made the live shows on The Voice under superstar coach, Sir Tom Jones.
