This is Michael Bogdanov’s production of one of Dylan Thomas’s childhood memory of Christmas which has become a firm favourite for generations of children in and beyond Wales. This adaptation is a new and evocative picture of Dylan’s early years, drawing on many of his short stories and broadcasts to create a childhood wonderland of snowbound memory portraying a nostalgic and simpler time. The older Dylan looks back in at his six-year old self and asks ‘did it really snow for twelve days and twelve nights?’.
