Swansea Grammar School 1927

Framed group portrait of pupils from Swansea Grammar school, 1927. Dylan Thomas is present in portrait on the far left hand side. Wall mounted.

A school friend of Dylan’s, Bob Rees, explained to us that Dylan was planning to run around the back so as to appear at both ends of the photo, but was thwarted by a strategically placed master.

This artefact is the original photographic print. It was created using a camera on a rotating tripod.
