Coronavirus – Latest Information and Advice

*Update for our customers – we’re open, book your free visit!*

Welcome back – we’ve missed you!

We’re really looking forward to throwing open our doors to our visitors again. Not surprisingly, there will be a few changes you’ll notice when you come to the Dylan Thomas Exhibition. We’ve picked out some of our favourite quotes from Dylan to help us illustrate them.

‘Time has ticked a heaven round the stars’

Our opening hours have temporarily changed so we can offer time slots for visitors to  ensure there is enough room to maintain social distancing. This also allows us time for us to clean in between each slot. We’re open Thursdays through to Sundays, with first entry from 10am.

Please book your free slot before you come and visit, by going to www.ticketsource.co.uk/dylanthomas or ringing 01792 463980 from Wednesday to Sunday. Slots will be available to book soon.

‘And cure me of ills’

In common with other venues, we ask that if you feel unwell on the day, or have been in contact with someone who’s tested positive for covid, to please get in touch and rearrange your visit.

‘And before you let the sun in, mind it wipes its shoes’.

Please be as hygienic as Mrs Ogmore-Pritchard in Under Milk Wood! There are sanitising points in the foyer and as you go into the exhibition for you to use before you head in to explore our ‘Love the Words’ exhibition.

Dylan loved reading in the bath…

Please maintain social distancing when you’re in the Dylan Thomas Centre. We have some stickers on the floor to help – but we also like to imagine that we should keep the length of a ‘Dylan in the bath’ away from each other.

‘O make me a mask’

Please wear a mask unless you have an exemption.

‘Whose wizard shape I trace in the cavernous skull’

When you book your free slot to visit us, please enter the name and contact number of each person, as details need to be recorded for Test, Trace and Protect. There’s more information about Test, Trace and Protect here.

‘the star-gestured children’

We’re especially looking forward to welcoming back our youngest visitors! Although our Learning Space is not yet open, our Children’s Trail is available – if you can, please bring your own pencil to complete it! We also have a whole host of fun activities to download.

‘I will knit you a wallet of forget-me-not blue, for the money to be comfy’

If you buy anything from our shop, it’d be brilliant if you could pay by card, but we can take cash if not.

We hope you enjoy your visit!
